La Crosse, Wis. - The Winona State University track and field team earned a third-place finish at the Phil Esten Challenge on Saturday, April 20, hosted by the University of Wisconsin La Crosse.
WSU earned 82 points as a team, just one point behind second-place UW-Eau Claire, while host UW-La Crosse claimed top honors with 249 points.Â
Leading Winona State was
Regan Feit with a first-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, turning in a time of 1:02.90 for the Warrior win.
Hanna Reichenberger added a runner-up finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.63. Reichenberger also registered a triple-jump effort of 11.87 (38-11 1/2") for the WSU.
Courtney Lukas ran a time of 25.70 in the 200-meters while Warrior teammate
Alyssa Larson hit a third-place time of 59.35 in the 400 meters. Also earning a third-place mark was
Kylie Anderson, running at time of 17:54.61 in the 5000-meters.Â
In the 4X100 meter relay, WSU took third place with a time of 49.11, earned by
Megan Marr,
Danielle Saydee,
Courtney Lukas and
Kaylee Olson.Â
