SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Winona State University softball team will travel westward to face off against the University of Sioux Falls on Saturday April 27 and the Wayne State College Wildcats on Sunday, April 27.
Winoan State (32-18, 16-8 NSIC) will face off against USF (19-26, 10-14 NSIC) at 1 p.m. Saturday and will face Wayne State (8-38, 4-18 NSIC) at noon on Sunday.

WINONA STATE STORYLINES...
The Warriors are 32-18 overall and 16-8 in the NSIC.
WSU is coming off a midweek sweep against Concordia- St. Paul, winning game one in a nail biter, 8-7 and winning game two 9-1.
Sam Keller accounted for two of the four home runs against CSP in game one, with
Kiley Slaats and
Logan Anderson collected the other two home runs.
Abbie Hlas hit in the game winning RBI single in game one against the Golden Bears to win 8-7.

Greg Jones reached the 950-win plateau recently against Minnesota State Moorhead.
Abbie Hlas leads the Warriors in batting average (.407), runs (44), and on-base percentage (.472)
Hlas broke Winona State Softball career doubles record earning her 66th double in the Goldey-Beacom game, previously held by Sarah Carlson with 62.
Sam Keller leads Winona State in total at bats (176), hits (52), home runs (5), and slugging percentage (.604)
Kiley Slaats leads the team with stolen bases (17-for-19) is third in hits (59).
Carly Engelhardt and Keller both have collected 44 RBI's a piece so far this season.

Abby Smith owning a 11-7 mark.
Jayda Berg has made 16 pitching appearances, 16 of which were relief efforts. Berg threw a complete game shutout against the Mavericks in their purple rivalary game.
Howe leads the Warriors with 115.2 innings in the circle and has 126 strikeouts, Smith has collected 48 strikeouts over 112.0 innings.
Sioux Falls & Wayne State STORYLINES...
The Cougars are 19-26 overall and 10-14 in the NISC. The Wildcats are 8-38 overall and 4-18 in the NSIC.
USF is coming into the doubleheader with a 3-1 record in their last four games.
WSC is coming off of a split against Minnesota State Mankato, losing game one 5-1 and winning game two 5-2.
For the Cougars, Riley Schwisow lead the team in batting average (.389), runs (39), hits (51), doubles (10), homeruns (9), RBIs (42), on-base percentage (.444), and stolen bases (15-for-15).
For USF, Maddi Duncan leads the Cougars in the circle pitching 138.1 innings with 112 strikeouts and collecting three shutouts this season and a 3.51 ERA.
The Cougars' head coach, Erin Bly is in her first season leading the USF softball program.
For the Wildcats, Jordyn Klein lead the team in batting average (.288), hits (42), doubles (9), triples (1), and on-base percentage (.333).
For WSC, Samantha Felt leads the Wildcats in the circle with 106.1 innings pitched and a 5.00 ERA.
The Wildcats' head coach Christy Warnock is in her second season leading the WSC softball program.
