MANKATO, Minn. - The Winona State University track and field team is setting their sites on the 2024 NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Minnesota State Mankato at the Minnesota State Track & Field Complex.
At MSU Mankato, Winona State will be looking to show off their competitive talent and continue to break school records and make history.
Winona State will open the competition on Friday, May 10 with
Kaylee Olson competing in the long and
Mari Mohling competing in the high jump for the first round of field events for the Warriors. For running events,
Madeline Palmer will start things off for WSU by running in the 10,000 meter race followed by
Samantha Harke and
McKenna Taylor running in the 3,000 meter Steeplechase.
The Warriors look to continue to compete on Friday with
Hanna Reichenberger competing in the 100 meter hurdles in hopes to continue to break school records.
Brittany Beadles and
Alyssa Larson look to compete in the 400 meter race and
Courtney Lukas looks to show her speed in the 100 meter race.
Jenna Anders looks to show her endurance in the 800 meter race and
Regan Feit and
Lainey Lipschultz look to put on a show in the 400 meter hurdles following Anders race.
Saturday, May 11, Riechenberger looks to show her skills at the triple jump to start the Warriors off on day two. In day two of the running events,
Megan Marr, Beadles, Lukas, and Olson look show thier speed in the 4x100 relay followed by
Kylie Anderson,
Kaylee Beyer,
Rhya Brandemuehl, and
Rachel Hoffman competing in the 5000 meter race. Then rounding out day two for Winona State will be Beadles, Lipschultz, Larson (Feit) in the 4x400 meter relay.
