WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's basketball team is set to host St. Cloud State University on Friday, January 17th at 7:30pm and Minnesota State University Moorhead on Saturday, January 18th at 5:30pm.
 
The Warriors, who are 4-7 in the NSIC and 8-9 overall will look to add to the win column with wins against SCSU and MSUM. Historically, Winona State is 16-28 against St. Cloud State and 29-51 against Minnesota State University Moorhead.
 
Winona State Notes:

• The Warriors are 8-9 this season and 4-7 in the NSIC.
• Winona State is second in the conference in three-pointers made at 144, good for 8.9 per game.
• This weekend will mark the end of a four-game homestand for Winona State.
• WSU's offense is ranked ninth in the conference in points per game, averaging 66.4 per game. Also, their defense is ranked ninth allowing on average 68.6 points per game.
• Hailey Markworth averages 11.6 points per game, putting her at 19th in the NSIC.
• Olivia Gamoke averages 2.9 three-pointers per game, ranking her first in the NSIC and eighth in Division II women's basketball.

St. Cloud State Notes:

• SCSU holds a 9-6 record on the season, 6-4 in the NSIC.
• The Huskies' head coach Lori Fish is in her 17th season with the team.
• As a team, St. Cloud State is shooting 41.5% from the field and 34.4% from three-point range.
• Jada Eggebrecht leads SCSU in scoring at 13.5 points per game.
• Leading the Huskies in rebounding is Ashley Sawicki at 8.3 per game.
• In their most recent action, SCSU faced the University of Minnesota Duluth, winning the contest 79-66.

Minnesota State University Moorhead:

• MSUM holds a 6-10 record on the year, 4-6 in the NSIC.
• The Dragons' head coach is in her 25th season with the team.
• As a team, Minnesota State University Moorhead is shooting 34.8% from the field and 27.8% from three-point range.
• Natalie Jens leads MSUM in scoring at 12.1 points per game.
• Leading the Dragons in rebounding is Terryn Johnson at 8.3.
