WINONA, Minn – The Winona State women's volleyball team is set to host #10 Concordia St. Paul on Tuesday, October 21st, along with matches Friday and Saturday against Minot State and UMary.
WSU looks to come back strongly after a winless weekend last week. With match ups against the #10 Concordia-St. Paul Golden Bears on Tuesday, October 21st at 6:00pm, followed by a match against the Minot State Beavers on Friday, October 24th at 6:00pm and wrapping it up against UMary Marauders on Saturday, October 25th, at 11:00am.
WSU is excited to announce all ticketing will be fully digital this year. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the venue.
Cash will not be accepted at the gate.
Winona State Notes:
- Head Coach Kristine Pelky has started her inaugural season with a 5-6 record in the NSIC and 10-9 overall.
- Winona State leads the NSIC in total blocks (156) and blocks/set with 2.23.
- Kenna Kornely is third in the NSIC in Kills with an average of 3.87/set and is top five in total Kills with 263.
- Ashlyn Steding leads WSU with 394 assists and an average of 5.63 assists/set.
- Gianna Vollrath leads the NSIC in both total blocks (79) and an average of 1.13 blocks/set.
- Anna Hennessy leads the Warriors in total digs with 281 and an average of 4.01 digs/set.

- Concordia-St. Paul is ranked #10 in the AVCA polls this week.
- Head Coach Brady Starkey looks to continue his success this season after starting 14-4 overall and 10-1 in the NSIC.
- CSP is number one in the NSIC for assists with 850 total and 13.71 assists/set.
- Sophomore, Makenna Nold is first in the NSIC for kills with 266 and 4.29 kills/set.
Minot State Notes:
- Head Coach Alex Courtney enters her second season with a record of 3-17 and 1-10 in the NSIC.
- Junior, Caton Pearcy is top 15 in the NSIC for digs with 213 total and 3.33 digs/set.
- Senior, Mia Thompson leads the Beavers with 33 blocks and an average of 0.61 blocks/set.
UMary Notes:
- Head Coach Rob Frost enters his first season with UMary with a 5-14 record and 2-9 in the NSIC.
- Senior, Maddy Freed is top 10 in the NSIC for assists (350) and 6.73 assists/set.
- Sophomore, Judith Burke is top 10 in the NISC for kills (232) and 3.41 kills/set.
