WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University football team will gear up to play Concordia-St. Paul at home this Saturday, October 25th. Gametime is set for 2:00pm at Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium.
The NSIC matchup will feature the Golden Bears who fell to #7 Augustana University 50-10 a few weeks ago. The Warriors fell most recently at #14 Minnesota State University, Mankato 47-21. Both teams had a mid-season bye last week.
WSU is excited to announce all ticketing will be fully digital this year. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the venue.
Cash will not be accepted at the gate for tickets. Please note, Chartwells concession stands in the stadium are cash only.
Winona State invites all fans to participate in the Warrior Game Day Experience, beginning at 11:00am at the intersection of Johnson and Mark streets on the campus of WSU. Kickoff for the contest will be at 2:00pm in Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium.
The Warriors will continue the football luncheon this year at the Riverport Inn & Suites at 12pm every Thursday throughout the football season.

- The Warriors (3-4, 3-3 NSIC) enter the 2025 season voted to finish ninth in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Brian Curtin is in his first year as head coach of the Warriors.
- WSU finished 3-3 at home last season and 3-2 in 2023.
- Winona State is 18-4 all time against Concordia-St. Paul, including going 8-0 in the last eight games versus the Golden Bears.
- Quarterback Jackson Flottmeyer looks to get the offense back on track after a tough loss to Minnesota State a few weeks ago. Flottmeyer is 118-of-204 for 1,287 yards and 13 TD passes on the 2025 campaign.
- Anthony Powell will look to get the ground game back to speed. Powell was one of the Warriors' lone bright spots a few weeks ago, going for 72 yards on eight carries and his fifth rushing TD of the year.
- Freshman wide receiver Nolan Ginskey is set to lead a talented group of receivers. Ginskey caught one of Flottmeyer's two passing touchdowns a few weeks ago. On the year, Ginskey leads the squad with 392 receiving yards on 30 catches and four touchdowns.
- The defense will turn to Conner Haggerty to limit the Golden Bears offensive attack. Haggerty is second in the NSIC with 5.5 sacks and three forced fumbles.
- Blake Schraufnagel is key to the Warriors defense as well. Schraufnagel leads the team with 51 tackles on the year.
- Jahmani Muhammad looks to lead Warriors special team's unit. Muhammad is fifth in the NSIC with an average kick return of 23.8 yards.
- Evan Swanstrom is a perfect 2-for-2 on field goals this season.
- Winona State is undefeated at home this season and when they give up less than 20 points per contest.
- Following this week's game, the Warriors start their road trip with a matchup at the University of Sioux Falls on November 1st at 1:00pm.
Concordia-St. Paul Notes:
- The Golden Bears (1-6, 1-5 NSIC) enter the 2025 season voted to finish 11th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Concordia-St. Paul enters the weekend after a tough 50-10 loss at #7 Augustana University a few weeks ago.
- The Golden Bears are bottom two in the NSIC in points per game (14.6) and points allowed per game (40.1).
- Lincoln Graf leads a deep quarterback room with 671 yards, and five touchdown passes on the 2025 season.
- On the ground, the Golden Bears Daniel Hornacek is set to lead the backfield. Hornacek has amassed 328 yards on 64 carries this season.
- Timothy Davis is the receiver to watch this Saturday. Davis has hauled in 20 passes for 360 yards and two scores on the campaign.
- Defensively, Mike King is the leading tackler for the Golden Bears with 55 tackles including five TFL.
- Punter Caden has booted nine punts inside the 20-yard line with four punts going for 50 or more yards.
