WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University men's basketball team is looking to continue momentum after a 2-0 week in a pair of home games against the University of Mary and Minot State University.
The Warriors face off against the Marauders on Friday, February 14 at 5:30pm and Minot State University on Saturday, February 15 at 3:30pm. Saturday's game against the Beavers will be Winona State's Senior Night, honoring Connor Drew, Jhei-R Jones, and Isaiah Thompson.
Winona State Notes:
- Winona State holds a 17-7 record overall and 12-6 inside the NSIC.
- The Warriors are coming off a weekend sweep, defeating Augustana and their contest on the road to Southwest Minnesota State.
- Connor Drew led WSU in scoring at 14.0 points per game while also corralling 8.5 rebounds per game last week.
- Isaiah Thompson collects 9.3 rebounds per game, leading the way for Winona State.
- Earlier this season the Warriors defeated UMary in Bismarck N.D. and dropped a three-overtime classic to Minot State.

- The Marauders hold a 5-22 record on the year so far and 3-15 in the NSIC.

- Caleb Van De Griend leads the Beavers in scoring at 19.8 points per game.
- Leading Minot State in rebounding is Caleb Van De Griend at 13.1 rebounds per game which leads all of division II.
- In their last contest Minot State dropped their game to St. Cloud State 91-81.
