WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University softball team will head to Branson, Mo. to compete in the Showtime Classic where they will face University of Nebraska at Kearney, Lincoln University of Missouri, Missouri S&T, University of Central Oklahoma, and Missouri Southern starting on Friday, February 28 through Sunday, March 2.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors are 9-1 overall this season and went 3-1 in the Lewis Dome Invitational
- Sam Keller is leading the team with a .559 batting average, 19 hits, 5 doubles, and a .667 on base percentage.
- Braelee Jodarski leads the way with seven home runs, 20 RBIs, and a 1.276 slugging percentage.
- Both Keller and Ashlee Chantos lead the team in triples, both collecting two.
- Logan Anderson leads the team in walks, collecting seven.
- Jayda Berg leads in the circle with a ERA of 2.05, a perfect game, a .95 WHIP, and two shutouts.
- Izzy Howe leads in the circle with 23 strike outs and opponent batting average of .198.
- Both Howe and Berg have 30.2 innings in the circle for the Warriors.

The Winona State University softball team will play their first game against the University of Nebraska at Kearney on Friday, February 28 with first pitch set for 3 p.m. followed by their game against Licoln Univeristy of Missouri set to start at 5 p.m. The Warriors will then play Missouri S&T on Saturday, March 1 with first pitch set for 2:30 pm. followed by #13 University of Central Oklahoma set to start at 4:30 p.m. WSU will wrap up their weekend against Missouri Southern on Sunday, March 2 with a start time set for 10:30 a.m.
