WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's basketball team is set to host Augustana University on Wednesday, February 5th, at 7:30pm. On Saturday, February 8th, the team will be on the road to face off against Southwest Minnesota State University at 7:00pm.
 
The Warriors, who are 5-11 in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and 9-13 overall will look to add to the win column with wins against AUGIE and SMSU. Historically, Winona State is 14-34 against Augustana and 43-49 against Southwest Minnesota State.
 
Winona State Notes:

• The Warriors are 9-13 this season and 6-5 in the NSIC.
• Winona State is fifth in the conference in three-pointers made at 171, good for 7.8 per game.
• This week will mark the second time that Winona State has faced off against each school.
• WSU's offense is ranked 10th in the conference in points per game, averaging 63.5 points per game. Their defense is ranked 11th allowing 70.2 points per game.

• AUGIE holds a 4-18 record on the season, 2-14 in the NSIC.

• As a team, Augustana is shooting 37.9% from the field and 28.9% from three-point range on the season.
• Hannah Burg leads AUGIE in scoring with 11.6 points per game.

• In their most recent action, AUGIE faced Wayne State College, losing the contest 72-68.

Southwest Minnesota State Notes:

• SMSU holds a 20-2 record on the season, 14-2 in the NSIC.
