WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University softball team will host Minnesota State University Moorhead and Northern State University on Friday, March 28 and Saturday, March 29 with both series set to play at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. 


Winona State Notes: 

• The Warriors are 24-7 overall and 5-1 in the NSIC. 
• Sam Keller leads the team with a .418 batting average, 28 runs, 41 hits, four triples, and a .513 on base percentage. 
• Logan Anderson leads the team with 9 doubles. 
• Braelee Jodarski leads the team with 12 home runs, 34 RBIs, and slugging percentage of .800. 
• Kiley Slaats leads with 10 successful steals on 10 attempts. 
• In the circle, Izzy Howe leads the way with a 1.92, 1.04 WHIP, 106 strikeouts, and .168 opponent batting average. 

Minnesota Moorhead Notes: 

• The Dragons are 10-24 overall and 2-4 in the NSIC. 
• Annika Norman leads the team with a .388 batting average, 20 RBIs, a .515 slugging percentage, and .404 on base percentage. 
• Norman, Avery Steffen, Natalie Gonzalez all have seven doubles a piece. 
• Steffen leads with four triples and 19 successful steals on 23 attempts.
• Eylisa Johnson leads with three home runs. 
• In the circle, Teagan Clemmons leads with a 4.55 ERA and 1.61 WHIP. 
• Also in the circle, Steffen leads with 64 strike outs and an opponent batting average of .290. 

Northern State Notes: 

• The Wolves are 7-20 overall and 1-5 in the NSIC. 
• Avarie Eagle leads the team with a .397 batting average.
• Aune Boben leads with 24 runs, 34 hits, nine doubles, three home runs, 19 RBIs, .628 slugging percentage, .453 on base percentage, and five successful steals on six attempts. 
• In the circle, Abby Rux leads with a 6.52 ERA, 2.24 WHIP, and 51 strikeouts.
• Also in the circle, Boben leads with an opponent batting average of .394.
