WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University softball team will take on Minot State and UMary in a home NSIC weekend starting on Saturday, April 12 with first pitches set for 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and Sunday, April 13 with with start times of 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors are 32-9 overall and 13-3 in the NSIC.
- Sam Keller leads the team with a .421 batting average, 41 runs, 53 hits, 14 doubles, four triples, and a .523 on base percentage.
- Braelee Jodarski leads the way with 16 homeruns, 47 RBIs, and a .797 slugging percentage.
- Keller has three stolen bases on three attempts and Kiley Slaats has 13 stolen bases on 14 attempts.
- In the circle, Izzy Howe leads the way with a 2.06 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 136 innings pitched, 143 strikeouts, and an opponent batting average of .160.
- In the second game against Bemidji State, Howe pitched a no hitter and in the first game against Minnesota Crookston, Jayda Berg threw a no hitter.
Minot State Notes:
- The Beavers are 23-16 overall and 11-5 in the NSIC.
- Anna LaCount leads the team with a .376 batting average, 44 hits, five homeruns, 23 RBIs, and a .425 on base percentage.
- Paige Kellogg leads with 12 doubles.
- Taylor Smith and Sara Van Wickler both have five triples a piece and Smith leads the team with a .593 slugging percentage.
- In the circle, Reegan Floyd leads with a 1.87 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 112.1 innings, and 92 strikeouts.
- Also in the circle, Jasmine Blizzard leads with an opponent batting average of .245.
UMary Notes:
- The Marauders are 9-32 overall and 2-14 in the NSIC.
- Madison Hunter leads the team with a .346 batting average and .402 on base percentage.
- Jenelle Bergmann leads with seven doubles, three triples, five homeruns, 26 RBIs, and a .619 slugging percentage.
- Sariah Perez leads the way with 11 stolen bases on 11 attempts.
