INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -
Ellie Behring earned a selection to the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Central Region Tournament, as announced by the NCAA selection committee on Monday, April 28. The 2025 Central Regional will take place on Monday, May 5, and conclude on Wednesday, May 7 in Edmond, Oklahoma.
This past week, Behring placed 12th in the 2025 NSIC Women's Golf Championship, carding rounds of 80, 79, and 80 playing at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex in Smithville, Missouri. Behring helped the Warriors reach a fifth-place finish overall in the three-round event. So far in the 2024-25 season, Behring has collected two first-place finishes with a scoring average of 78.6.
The Central Region Golf championship will take place May 5-7 at KickingBird Golf Club in Edmond, Oklahoma, a 5,834-yard par 70, public course built in 1971. 18 teams and six individuals will compete through the 54 holes of competition.
The top four (central), four (south), five (west), and five (east) teams, along with the top two individuals not on an advancing team, will advance to the championships. The championships will be held May 13-17 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nevada. The number of participants that qualify for the finals is 98.
