EDMOND, Okla. -
Ellie Behring wrapped up her impressive 2025 season at the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Central Regional where she represented Winona State as an individual golfer. Behring finished with a three-round score of 223 (+13) through the 54-hole event.
At Kickingbird Golf Club this week, Behring carded a first-round score of 75 (+5) and followed it up with one of the best rounds ever by a Warrior in the NCAA Championships by scoring a 71 (+1) during round two, playing 36 holes on Monday due to weather. After the expected weather delay on Tuesday, Behring teed off on Wednesday for the third and final round, carding a 77 (+7). Behring carded six birdies and 30 pars through the 54 holes of golf in Edmond, Oklahoma.
Behring, a senior from Oak Creek, Wisconsin, earned two first-place finishes this season at the Women's Fall Brawl and the UIU Spring Invite.
The Winona State women's golf team finishes its 2024-25 season with seven top-5 finishes and one first-place finish.
