WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University softball team is set to take on Bemidji State and Minnesota Crookston on Saturday, April 5 and Sunday, April 6 with both doubleheaders set to be played at Maynard R. Johnson Field.
Winona State Game Notes:
- The Warriors are 28-7 overall and 9-1 in the NSIC.
- Braelee Jodarski earned NSIC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season.
- Sam Keller lead the team with a .426 batting average, 34 runs, 46 hits, 11 doubles, four triples, 22 total walks, and a .519 on base percentage.
- Jodarski leads with 15 homeruns, 45 RBIs, and a .860 slugging percentage.
- Kiley Slaats leads with 10 successful stolen bases off of 10 attempts.
- In the circle, Izzy Howe leads with a 1.96 ERA, 1.09 WHIP, 117.2 innings pitched, 120 strikeouts, and an opponent batting average of .166.
Bemidji State Notes:
- The Beavers are 15-19 overall and 2-8 in the NSIC.
- Aimee Christenson leads the team with a .388 batting average, .529 slugging percentage, and a .429 slugging percentage.
- Alexa Christenson leads the way with 26 runs and 6 doubles.
- Mariah Stevenson and Calleigh Richards both have 19 RBIs a piece.
- Jackie Lason leads with 15 successful stolen bases off of 15 attempts.
- In the circle, Kennedy Joachim leads with a 2.73 ERA, 1.29 WHIP, 100 innings pitched 110 strikeouts, and an opponent batting average of .258.
Minnesota Crookston Notes:
- The Golden Eagles are 13-22 overall and 1-7 in the NSIC.
- Hannah Trzinski leads the team with a .355 batting average, 33 hits, 17 RBIs, and .419 on base percentage.
- Chayse Doering leads with five doubles, two homeruns, and a .453 slugging percentage.
- Doering has been the most successful at stealing with eight successful stolen bases on eight attempts.
- In the circle, Delaney Penner leads with a 2.93 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, 43 inning pitched, and an opponent batting average of .239.
