WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University softball team will take on Minnesota State, Mankato in a midweek match up on Wednesday, April 9 with first pitches set for 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. at Maynard R. Johnson Field.Â
Winona State Notes:Â
- The Warriors are 31-8 overall and 12-2 in the NSIC.Â
- Sam Keller leads the team with a .445 batting average, 40 runs, 53 hits, 14 doubles, four triples, and a .544 on base percentage.Â
- Braelee Jodarski leads the way with 16 homeruns, 47 RBIs, and a .822 slugging percentage.Â
- Kiley Slaats leads with 12 stolen bases off of 13 attempts.Â
- In the circle, Izzy Howe leads with a 1.95 ERA, 1,12 WHIP, 129 innings pitched, 137 strikeouts, and an opponent batting average of .159
- Both Howe and Jayda Berg collected no hitters, Howe's against BSU and Berg's against UMC.Â

- The Mavericks are 30-12 overall and 14-2 in the NSIC.
- Marina Carter leads the team with a .361 batting average.
- Gianna Lara leads the way with 44 hits, 11 doubles, five homeruns, and a .560 slugging percentage.
- Carly Kimmes leads 20 stolen bases off of 23 attempts and Kimmes and Cheyenne Behrends both have 34 runs.Â
- In the circle, Brianne Stone leads with a 1,37 ERA.
- Also in the circle, Sailor Hall leads with a .99 WHIP, 96 inning pitched, 76 strikeouts, and an opponent batting average of .205.Â
