The Warriors locked down defensively to earn their first clean sheet of 2025.
How it Happened:
After a scoreless first half that saw both teams trade possession but few with quality chances to score.
WSU continued to press offensively, outshooting the Pride 7-3 in the second half and forcing three saves from the opposing goalie.
The Warrior back line, led by Annika Groendal, stifled Purdue Northwest's attack down the stretch. WSU defended three late corner kicks and allowed just one shot on goal in the final 30 minutes to preserve the shutout.
