WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University women's volleyball team is set to host #9 Wayne State College and Augustana University on Friday October 3rd and Saturday, October 4th.
The Warriors will continue NSIC play against the Wayne State Wildcats on Friday, October 3rd at 6:00pm and will follow up against the Augustana Vikings, on Saturday at 5:00pm.
WSU is excited to announce all ticketing will be fully digital this year. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the venue.
Cash will not be accepted at the gate.
Saturday's game against Augustana will be "Ron Strege Night." Ron is a longtime WSU volleyball fan and has been the PA announcer for the volleyball team for years. Tickets will be $5 and ALL proceeds will be going to the Ron Strege Scholarship Fund.

- Head Coach Kristine Pelky has started her inaugural season strong with a 4-1 record in the NSIC and 9-4 overall.
- Winona State leads the NSIC in total blocks with 119 and 2.38/set.
- Gianna Vollrath leads the NSIC for blocks with a total of 64 and an average of 1.28/set.
- Kenna Kornely is second in the NSIC in Kills with an average of 3.96/set and holds the most Kills in the NSIC with 190.
- Anna Hennessy has 209 digs this season leading the team with an average of 4.18 digs/set.
- Ashlyn Steding leads WSU with 288 assists and an average of 5.76 assists/set.

- Wayne State is ranked #9 in the AVCA polls this week.
- Head Coach Scott Kneifl looks to continue his hot start to the NSIC play after beginning 5-0 in conference.
- Sophomore, Chloe Hanel is second in the NSIC in hitting percentage with .438.
- Sophomore, Molly Romano is top ten int the NSIC for assists with 505 total and 10.52/set.
Augustana Notes:
- Head Coach Jennifer Jacobs has had a solid start to her ninth season leading the Vikings to an 8-5 start.
- Augustana is currently tied for ninth in the NSIC slightly behind a four-way tie for fourth place in the NSIC conference standings.
- Senior Maya Wente leads the Vikings in Kills with 178 while also being in the top 10 for kills/set (3.30).
- Junior, Kiylah Franke leads Augustana in assists with 591 while also being in the top five for assists/set (10.94).
