WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State University soccer team hits the road to play Purdue Northwest on Saturday, September 13th at 11:00am.

The nonconference matchup will continue the season for the Warriors, who are off the a 1-0 start to the 2025 campaign.

Winona State Notes:

• Winona State looks to carry the momentum from last week's 2-1 victory over UW-Parkside into this contest.
• The Warriors are looking to build off of an impressive win last week with a 12-8 advantage on shots, with seven shots on goal compared to the Rangers three.
• Abigail Rounds picked up her first victory in net for WSU, garnering two saves.
• Sarah Strating tallied three shots with two on goal to lead Winona State's attack.
• Madisson Watts connected with Kyleigh Jannisch to put WSU on the board early last weekend.
• Madelynn Drasher scored the game-winning goal for the Warriors last weekend on a penalty kick.
• Annika Groendal played all 90 minutes of the contest for the Warriors, leading the defensive side of the game. 

• The Lions are off to a 2-0 start to their 2025 campaign.
• Dakota Fulkerson led Purdue Northwest with one goal on two shots.
• Mia Davis netted one goal with only one shot.
• Yoselin Garcia chipped one assist during the game.
• Goalkeeper Poppy Jackson played all 90 minutes in goal notching six saves and recorded her first shutout of the season.
