WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's basketball team hits the road for the second weekend in a row to play Minnesota Duluth and Bemidji State.
Winona State will travel to Minnesota Duluth on Friday, January 23rd with tip off starting at 5:30pm. They will follow up against Bemidji State, on Saturday, January 24th starting at 3:30pm.
Winona State Notes:
- The Warriors are currently sitting at third overall in the NSIC with a 9-3 conference record and a 12-6 overall record.
- Winona State is averaging 71.2 points per game while giving up 66.2 points per game and shooting 43.2% from the field.
- WSU is shooting 32.9% from three-point land and is making 7.4 three-point shots per game. The Warriors are also shooting 74.0% from the charity stripe as a team.
- Hailey Markworth leads the team in points per game (15.4), while being second in rebounds per game (6.2) and first in steals per game (1.1).

- Minnesota Duluth currently sits at 13-3 overall and 11-1 in the NSIC after dropping their first conference game with Minnesota State 78-81.
- Sophomore shooting guard, Claire Bjorge leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 13.8 points per game and is shooting 45.1% from the field.
- Senior forward, Lexi Karge is a key asset for UMD on the glass with 5.4 rebounds per game with 86 total.

- Bemidji State currently sits at 7-9 overall and 4-8 in the NSIC after dropping seven of their last eight contests.
- Senior forward, Kassandra Caron leads the Beaver offense with 17.8 points per game on 47.3% shooting from the field.
- Junior guard, Tieryn Plasch is the sharpshooter for BSU with 27 three-pointers made on 32.5% shooting.
- As a team, Bemidji State scores an average of 67.9 points per game and allows 71.4 points.
