WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State men's basketball team continues their 2025-26 regular season with a pair of home contests against the University of Mary and Minot State University on January 30 and 31.
The Warriors will first take on the University of Mary on January 30 at 7:30pm. WSU is 25-3 all time against the Marauders including going 2-0 last season. The following day, Winona State will battle the Minot State Beavers at 5:30pm. The Warriors are 12-4 in the all-time series with the Beavers, going 1-1 against them in the 2024-25 season.
WSU is excited to announce all ticketing will be fully digital this year. All fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online before arriving at the venue.

Winona State Notes:
- Winona State enters the week 6-13 (5-9 NSIC) after splitting last weekend's games, falling 71-50 to Minnesota Duluth and defeating Bemidji State 86-83 in OT.

- Ryan Heise looks to continue his strong season averaging 13.1 ppg and 5.6 rpg.
- Tyler Mason adds 12.6 ppg while Aidan Bardic leads the squad with 2.8 assists per game.
- Following this week, the Warriors stay at home, facing Wayne State College and Augustana University on February 5 and 7 respectively.
University of Mary Notes:
- UMary travels to Winona State on a seven-game skid. The Marauders fell 91-74 to Wayne State College and 78-46 to Augustana University last weekend.
- UMary is 5-15 (3-11 NSIC) during the 2025-26 campaign.
- The Marauders enter the 2025-26 season ranked 16th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Head Coach Darren Tighe enters his first season at the helm of the UMARY program. He has compiled a career record of 174-127 in his coaching career.

- Minot State is looking to turn their season around after dropping their last six games. MISU fell 82-75 to Augustana and 85-77 to Wayne State College last weekend.
- MISU is 8-12 (5-9 NSIC) during the 2025-26 campaign.
- The Beavers enter the 2025-26 season ranked 11th in the NSIC Preseason Coaches' Poll.
- Head Coach Randall Herbst is in his first year with the team. Herbst is 80-58 in his coaching career.
- The Beavers average 76.4 ppg while allowing 78.4 ppg to opponents.
- John Pecarich leads four Beavers averaging double figures with 19.0 ppg.
- Offensively, Sean De Kovachich (15.2), Darik Dissette (14.5), and Isaiah Alexander (11.6) will be vital to the Bemidji State scoring attack.
