WARRIOR WOMEN’S BASKETBALL HEADS WEST FOR CRUCIAL MATCHUPS AGAINST SMSU AND USF

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's basketball team will head West for match ups against SMSU and USF this week.

The Warriors are currently sitting in the fifth place slot in the NSIC, finding themselves one game behind Concordia-St. Paul (13-5 NSIC) and one game ahead of Southwest Minnesota State (11-7 NSIC). These contests will have everything to do with their placement in the NSIC Tournament later this month.

Winona State will battle with the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs on Thursday, February 12th at 5:30pm and will follow up with the Sioux Falls Cougars on Saturday, February 14th at 3:00pm.

Winona State Notes:
  • Nearing the end of the 2025-26 regular season, the Warriors have a 15-9 overall record and a 12-6 conference record.
  • Winona State is averaging 70.6 points per game while giving up 65.0 points per game and shooting 43.7% from the field.
