WARRIOR GOLF TEAMS EARN BIDS FOR NCAA REGIONALS

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Winona State women's and men's golf teams each earned bids into the 2026 NCAA Division II Regionals. This is the first time since 2007 that both teams will appear in the NCAA Regionals in the same season.

Women's regional play will start on Monday, May 4 and conclude on Wednesday, May 6 at St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri. Winona State finished in the top five on five occasions this season. The Warriors are coming off a fourth-place finish at the 2026 NSIC Championships where Georgia Volley earned a top-three individual placement and a NSIC All-Tournament Team honors with a score of (+13).

St. Joseph, MO Sports Commission and Missouri Western State University will host 18 teams and six individuals for the NCAA DII Central Regional. This will be the women's first-time making the NCAA DII Central Regional since 2017.

Men's regional play will be conducted May 7–9 at Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids, Michigan. Winona State earned five team victories this season and finished in the top five on nine occasions. The Warriors are coming off a first-place finish at the 2026 NSIC Championships where Max Jericho earned the individual championship with a score of (-1). Peyton Coahran notched an NSIC All-Tournament Team with a second-place finish and a card of (E).

Ferris State University will host 20 teams and eight individuals for the NCAA DII Regional. This will be the men's third consecutive appearance in the NCAA Division II Super Regional after making it in 2024 and 2025.
