WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State soccer team is set to hit the road with a pair of matches against Minot State University and the University of Mary.

The Warriors (0-4) will face the Beavers (1-4) in Minot, N.D. on Friday, Sept.18^th at 5:30 p.m., and the Marauders (1-2-2) on Sunday, Sept. 20^th at 1 p.m.
 
Winona State Notes:

• Winona State is looking to gather its first win of the season this upcoming weekend after falling to (0-4) on the season after its close loss to Jamestown and Northern State this past weekend.
• Madison Barnick, McKayla Paukner, and Jacey Sturek are tied with one goal each for the Warriors this season.
• Jacey Sturek leads all Warrior field players in minutes played with 161 minutes played.
• Abigail Rounds has played 356:03 minutes as the Warriors' Goalkeeper and has notched 11 saves so far this season.
• Annika Groendal, Kyleigh Jannisch, McKayla Paukner, and Adrianna Bixby are the WSU captains for the 2026 season.

Minot State Notes:

• Minot State is off to a 1-4 start this season with a win against Jamestown in its conference opener.
• Elsa Duquesne leads all Beaver field players in minutes played, logging 440 minutes while also scoring the Beavers only goal this season.
• Leah Salas leads MSU in shots with 7 and shots on goal having three.
• Goalkeeper Rebecca Sargent has notched 32 saves this season.

UMary Notes:

• The Marauders are sitting at 1-2-2 on the season after losing their most recent matchup to No.5 Minnesota State Mankato 0-3.
• UMary is averaging 19.6 shots per game compared to its opponents 11.0 shots per game.
• Dina Polanco leads the Marauders with five goals, 28 shots, and 15 shots on goal this season.
