High School: Played outside and middle in her four years starting at Caledonia High School … helped the Warriors to their first state tournament appearance in 2012 where they finished second … led all scorers in the state championship match and was named to the Minnesota State All-Tournament Team … led Caledonia to four-straight conference championships … was a two-time Three Rivers All-Conference selection … In 2011 was named to both the Winona Daily News All-Area and La Crosse Tribune All-Area first teams … was a Caledonia team captain in 2011 and 2012 … is a two-time Distinguished Academic Achievement Award recipient … is a six-time Junior National Weightlifting Champion, winning three-straight titles from 2007-09 … earned multiple academic and athletic All-Conference honors … was the Caledonia women’s basketball MVP in 2011 … won a conference championship in the 100-meter dash and took second in the 200-meter dash in 2012 … was awarded back-to-back Work Ethic Awards for her accomplishments on the basketball court.
Personal: Daughter of Carl and Becky Fruechte ... her brother played wide receiver at the University of Minnesota and is currently playing professionally for the Minnesota Vikings.
