Kelsey Homewood grew up in Iowa City, IA, where she later graduated from Iowa City Regina High School.

Homewood then went on to attend Northwest Missouri State from 2004-2006, Kirkwood Community College from 2006-2007, and her two most enjoyable years at Winona State University from 2007-2009. Homewood was on the Dean’s List all five of her years in college, and was the Exercise Science Honorable Student in spring 2009. Homewood competed in four different sports during her high school and collegiate years; softball, track, cross country, and basketball.

Homewood studied Therapeutic Recreation courses for two years, received her Associate in Science degree in 2007, and her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2009. Homewood will receive her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership and Sports Management.

Homewood has coached a variety of sports over the years, and was a Strength & Conditioning coach at Winona State from 2009-2010. She coached football, soccer, gymnastics, women’s basketball, tennis, and softball. She began working in the WSU Athletic Department in the fall of 2009, as the Events Management Coordinator.

Kelsey Homewood took on the role of Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Women Administrator in June of 2010.

During her time off, Homewood enjoys, working out, warm weather, traveling, and spending time with her family.
