Marquice Williams

Marquice Williams is in his second season as a Graduate Assistant at Winona State, working with the team’s outside linebackers.

Williams saw pupils Alex Coulter and Chad Cheek shine as underclassmen in 2010. Coulter made 51 stops on the season while Cheek recorded 43 tackles as the Warriors made the transition to a 3-4 scheme.

Williams played for the University of Mary, earning First Team All-NSIC and All-Region honors from his defensive back position. The Marauder defense allowed just 240 yards per game in 2007 to lead the NSIC and finish 14th nationally in that category.

Williams graduated from U-Mary with a degree in Rehabilitave Care in 2008. He is currently working toward his Master’s Degree in Sports Management at Winona State.
