TJ Lake enters his second season as graduate assistant coach for the Warrior men's basketball team in 2019-20.

TJ is no stranger to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference, playing for Minnesota State Mankato from 2014-2016. After spending two years at Mankato, Lake transferred to the University of Dubuque (Iowa) for his final two seasons of eligibility.

TJ lead the Iowa Conference in scoring his senior season at Dubuque averaging 23.4 PPG, earning him First Team All-Conference honors. Lake posted a 50-point game that season vs. Loras College while also recording seven games where he scored over 30 points.

The former guard graduated from Western Dubuque High School in Epworth, Iowa in 2013, as a two-time First Team All-State and All-Conference performer. Lake led the Bobcats to a State Tournament Runner-Up finish in 2012. During his tenure on varsity, West Dubuque recorded a record of 65-10.

Lake earned a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Dubuque and is pursuing his master’s degree while coaching at Winona State.
