Lea Hartigan

Lea Hartigan is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach at Winona State after a standout collegiate career at Wayne State.

The Warriors posted a 20-11 record during Hartigan’s first season with the team, winning a school record 15 consecutive matches. The 20 victories marked the first 20-win season for WSU since 1993. Wayne State held the nation’s No. 1 ranking during the 2010 season and advanced to the NCAA Division II Tournament in all four of Hartigan’s seasons with the team. Hartigan helped the Wildcats post a combined 102-34 mark during her four seasons of play.

After her playing career, Hartigan spent the 2011 season as an assistant coach at Simpson College. While at Simpson she helped tutor Megan Dunlavy to all-conference honors.

Hartigan earned a degree in Sport Management with minors in Business Administration and Coaching at Wayne State. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in Sport Management at Winona State.
