BISMARCK, N.D. –
Courtney Wiencek would score her fourth goal of the season, but the University of Mary (3-6-3, 3-5-2 NSIC) scored two second half scores to beat Winona State (6-7-1, 3-7-1 NSIC) 2-1 on Sunday afternoon. Each team posted 11 shots, the Warriors had five on goal and the Marauders had four.
Abby Bohanski crossed a ball to Wiencek, who hit the ball into the back of the net in the 12
th minute. The Warriors went to the lockeroom up 1-0 after 45 minutes of play.
U-Mary would score on a free kick opportunity in the 63
rd minute by Lisa Swardh to tie the score at 1-1. The go-ahead U-Mary goal would come in the 76
th minute from Michelle McGeary, assisted by Emily Julian to make it 2-1.
The Marauders held a 6-2 advantage in corner kicks. The teams accumulate 24 fouls; the Marauders had 16 and Warriors had eight. Each team finished with a yellow card.

Rachel Oleson had four saves on the afternoon and is now to 2-4 on the season.
The Warriors return home for next weekend's matchups against MSU Moorhead (3-10, 2-9 NSIC) and Northern State (6-7, 4-7 NSIC).
