WINONA, Minn. – Winona State (7-7-1, 4-7-1 NSIC) scored early and went on to win 2-0 over MSU-Moorhead (3-11, 2-10 NSIC) on Saturday afternoon. The Warriors outshot the Dragons 24-5 in the match.
 
Abby Bohanski scored her eighth goal of the season in the second minute to put the Warriors on top. It was a brilliant individual effort as she dribbled past two defenders and slotted the ball past the keeper's right side.
 
Hayley Bach scored her first goal of the year in the 40^th minute to double the Winona State lead. After Courtney Wiencek's shot hit the crossbar Bach put the rebound in the back of the net.
 
The Dragons had a couple chances in the second half but could not find a way to put any shot on net. MSU-Moorhead's keeper kept them in the match with five saves in the second half.
 
The Warriors are back in action tomorrow at 1 p.m. against Northern State at Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium.
