WINONA, Minn – The Winona State women's soccer team was able to bounce back from a loss to Bemidji State and come away with a 4-0 victory over Minnesota Crookston (2-4, 1-2 NSIC) on Sunday afternoon.

Meg Riebau and freshman
Kendyl Keay all scored in the win to give the Warriors (4-2, 1-2 NSIC) three big NSIC points.
Bohanski would score first for the Warriors in the 10
th minute with the assist from
Darian Molter.
Courtney Wiencek scored in the 28
th minute, assisted by
Hayley Bach.
The matchup with the Golden Eagles was physical, as together both teams compiled 28 fouls. Minnesota Crookston finished with 15 and Winona State with 13. In the first half the Warriors had two corner kick opportunities while only one for the Golden Eagles. In the second half, each team had two.
Meg Riebau would score her second goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 47
th minute.
Kendyl Keay would have a shot saved, but was able to get a second chance as the ball bounced off the goalie and she was able to score her first goal as a Warrior.
Alyssa Reynolds was the Warrior who allowed Keay to run free in the box after a nice pass.
Bohanski now has a team high five goals on the season. Behind her are

Meg Riebau with two. Freshman goalkeeper
Jourdan Valkner is off to a good start as a Warrior, she is now 2-0 on the year.
The Warriors keep their all-time series clean with Minnesota Crookston as they push their lead to 23-0 over the Golden Eagles.
Up next is a Friday game in Wayne, Neb. against the Wayne State Wildcats at 4 p.m.. The Warriors will be back at Maxwell Field on September 25
th to take on Augustana (2-3-1, 1-1-1 NSIC) at 1 p.m.
