Warriors Fall 1-0 to Augustana

WINONA, Minn. – The Winona State women's soccer team fell 1-0 to Augustana at Maxwell field on Sunday afternoon.The Warriors put up 11 shots with six of those on goal. Augustana had 14 shots with six on goal as well. Augustana's Julie Plonsky would score the lone goal of the game in the 68th minute, assisted by Emily Jacobson.
 
Courtney Wiencek led the Warriors with four shots, all of them being on goal. Hayley Bach and Alyssa Reynolds would each have a shot on goal as well.
 
Abby Bohanski, Meg Riebau, and Darian Molter also contributed shots in the game.
 
Winona State would have a few close shots in the latter minutes of the game but was still unable to find the back of the net.
 
The Warriors (4-3-1, 1-3-1 NSIC) will be on the road next weekend traveling north to St. Cloud  State (4-2-2, 3-0-2 NSIC) on Friday and Minnesota Dultuh (3-2-2, 1-1-2 NSIC) on Sunday.
