ST. CLOUD, Minn. – The Winona State women's soccer team fell 1-0 to St. Cloud State in an overtime matchup Friday evening. It would take over 96 minutes of action for a ball to find the back of the net, unfortunately it didn't come from a Warrior. Hannah Marion would score the lone goal of the game in the 97
th minute to lift the Huskies to victory.
The Warriors were only able to get nine attempts at the goal while the Huskies put up 21. Seven of those were on frame for the Huskies while the Warriors were limited to five.
Abby Bohanski and
Darian Molter had three shots each, and combined had four shots on goal.
Courtney Wiencek also contributed a shot on goal.
The Warriors were unable to get a corner kick in either regulation or overtime.

Jourdan Valkner had seven saves on the night.
The Warriors (4-4-1, 1-4-1 NSIC ) hope to rebound Sunday as they travel to Minnesota Duluth (4-3-2, 2-2-2 NSIC) for a 1 p.m. start. Find the game preview
