WINONA, Minn. – The #7 ranked Winona State Warriors (13-2, 4-2) took on NSIC foe Bemidji State (5-9, 1-3) Friday and swept the Beavers in three sets (25-17, 25-17, 25-18). The Warriors used their .328 attacking percentage to top BSU, while holding the Beavers to .162.
The Warriors got off to an impressive start offensively, combining for a .444 team attack percentage in the opening set. Winona State used their high attack percentage to win the first set 25-17.
Taylor Goar led the Warriors in the opening set with seven kills. Goar's first set total fell just two kills short of Bemidji's team total of nine. Goar also led in attack percentage, terminating at .667 clip.
Lauren Kudronowicz was second in both categories with six kills and a .625 attack percentage.
McKenna Larsen had an impressive 18 assists in the first set.
A pattern emerged in the second set as the Warriors once again topped the Beavers 25-17. The kills were more spread out in set number two.
Danielle Rampart led the way with five. Larsen followed up her high assist total in the first set, with 13 in the second.
Jamie Cairncross led both sides in digs through two sets with ten.
Winona State had a chance to finish off the Beavers in the third set and did just that, winning the third and final set 25-18. The defense was big factor once again, holding BSU to a .103 attack percentage. Rampart led Winona State in kills and attack percentage in set three. She finished with six kills and a .545 hitting percentage in the set. Larsen once again led both teams in assists with 13 while compiling seven digs. Goar led the third set with nine digs.

Lauren Kudronowicz both had an ace in the last set.
Quick Hitters:
- Larsen finished with 44 assists on the night which surpassed Bemidji State's team total of 25.
- Rampart led both sides with 14 kills, and was second with a .433 attack percentage.
- Winona State had 21 kills in the opening set.
- Kudronowicz' s .571 attack percentage was a game high for either side, she tied with Taylor Goar in kills with 13.
- Apart from being second in kills, Goar led the team in digs with 15.
- Bemidji State was held to just nine kills in each set.
- The #7 Warriors face off against University of Minnesota Crookston Saturday in Winona at 4 p.m.
