WINONA, Minn. – Winona State University soccer completed a perfect 2-0 weekend with a shutout of St. Cloud State University on Sunday at Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium. Courtney Wiencek scored the lone goal of the contest in the Warriors' 1-0 triumph.

Rachel Oleson recorded her third shutout of the season in goal for WSU. The senior keeper totaled 16 saves while allowing just one goal over the weekend. Oleson blanked the Huskies on 10 shots Sunday.

Wiencek's second goal of the weekend was her fourth overall this season which is tied for the team lead. The sophomore leads the Warriors with nine total points.

Kendyl Keay and Abby Bohanski assisted on the game-winning goal which occurred in the 54th minute of play.

Winona State improves to 5-4-1 (4-2-1 NSIC) with the win while St. Cloud falls to 5-5 (3-4 NSIC).

The Warriors travel to Sioux Falls on Friday for a 5 p.m. contest. WSU then returns home on Sunday at will play three straight games at Maxwell Field.
