WINONA, Minn. – It was a close meet between Winona State and the University of La Crosse as the Warriors fell to the Eagles 187.950-186.075.
The Warriors swept the beam with a first-place finish and a tie for second place.
Natalie Koehler led the sweep with a 9.525 and Haruko "Sunny" Hasebe tied with fellow teammate
Kelly Johnston with a score of 9.500.
Eboni Jackson had a first-place finish on the floor with a 9.750, followed by a 9.625 from
Alyssa Carroll.
Katie Pipp landed a 9.500 performance on the bars for a second-place finish.
The Warriors will compete in one more meet, at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire on March 10
th, before they return home as they will host the WIAC Championships and the NCGA West Regional on March 17
th.
