BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) has announce that 749 student-athletes have earned NSIC All-Academic honors for the 2019 spring semester; 391 student-athletes were named to the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, while 358 earned NSIC All-Academic Team honors.

Winona State University is represented by 49 student-athletes on the All-Academic Team, including 27 named to the All-Academic Team of Excellence.

For the 2018-19 academic year, Winona State had 115 student-athletes earn All-Academic Team standing with 65 being named to the All-Academic Team of Excellence.

To be eligible for the NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence, a student-athlete must have a 3.60 cumulative GPA or higher, while NSIC All-Academic Team members must have a 3.20 cumulative GPA or higher.

Additionally, the student-athlete must be a member of the varsity traveling team, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standing at her/his institution (true freshmen, red-shirt freshmen and ineligible athletic transfers are not eligible) and have completed at least one full academic year at that institution.
