WINONA, Minn. – For the second straight season, and the fourth time overall, Winona State University will serve as host of the NCAA Division II Softball Championship Central Regional Tournament at Maynard R. Johnson Field on May 9-11.
The 2019 Regional Tournament berth marks the third consecutive and 14th overall in program history – each coming under head coach Greg Jones since the 2003 campaign.
Live stats and video streaming will be provided for all games by Winona State.
The other half of the Central Regional features: (1) Central Oklahoma, (4) Arkansas Tech, (5) Southern Arkansas, (8) Minnesota Duluth. The winner of the Central Oklahoma and Winona State regional sites will meet, with the highest remaining seed serving as host, in a best-of-three Super Regional on May 16-17. The 2019 Division II Softball World Series is set for May 23-27 at the Regency Athletic Complex in in Denver, Colorado.
