BURNSVILLE, Minn. – Winona State University's Beth Murman was named the NSIC Women's Tennis Player of the Week after helping the Warriors begin the season with a pair of wins. The 2019 First Team All-Conference recipient earns the league's weekly honor for the first time in her career.
Murman, a sophomore, was undefeated in singles and doubles action last weekend. She went 2-0 at Singles No. 1 and 2-0 at Doubles No. 1 with teammate Kaisey Skibba.
Murman was a 6-3, 2-6, 13-11 winner against St. Cloud State and a 6-2, 7-6 winner against Minnesota Duluth in singles competition. In doubles, she and Skibba were 6-2 winners in both matches.
Murman and the Warriors are back on the courts this weekend in Sioux Falls with matches against Augustana University and the University of Sioux Falls.
