WINONA, Minn. – Three members of the Winona State University women's tennis team earned spots on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team.
Ally Burger,
Clara Thoemke, and
Kate Velander represented the Warriors on the 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Team.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District women's tennis team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-American program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions – NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
Burger, a senior from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, competed in 15 singles matches for the Warriors this season and 20 doubles matches, earning two wins in singles and six wins in doubles.
Thoemke, a senior from Inver Grove Heights, Minn., competed in 18 singles matches for the Warriors this season and 19 doubles matches, earning eight wins in singles and nine in doubles. Thoemke earned two NSIC top performer merits during her senior campaign.
Velander, a junior from Mound, Minn., competed in 15 singles matches for the Warriors this season and two doubles matches, earning four wins in singles matches.
