Winona State University gymnastics placed second on Saturday afternoon in McCown Gymnasium while hosting a tri-meet on Senior Night.
The Warriors scored 184.525 team points, finishing second to UW-Whitewater with a score of 187.975. Hamline placed third with a score of 182.550.
The Warriors took home two firsts, as
Shelsea Zehr scored a 9.525 to take home the floor prize, while the beam machine
Kelly Johnston took home the balance beam top prize with a score of 9.650.
Megan Tran scored a season best 9.200 on bars while
Callie Van Dyck tied her season best with a score of 9.300. Tran also had a season best score of 9.200 to place fifth on beam.
Anna Hiller (9.325) and
Hannah Matuszak (9.250) would each score season highs on bars to place fifth and seventh.
Maddie Bronson each scored a 9.425 to tie for fifth on Vault.
The Warriors have just one more regular season meet left as they head to Menomonie, Wis. to face UW-Stout/UW-Eau Claire/Hamline in a quad-meet. That meet is set for Friday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m.
