Warrior Game Day: Men's Basketball

Winona State takes on Upper Iowa today

Fayette, Iowa -- The Winona State University men's basketball team will look to sweep Upper Iowa in non-conference action, as the Warriors head back to UIU on Sunday, Jan. 17 to take on the Peacocks.  Tipoff is set for 2pm.  Winona State won the first meeting yesterday, 81-79 in a closely contested contest.

Head coach Todd Eisner and the Warriors (1-1 / 0-0 NSIC South) will work to keep the momentum going from yesterday, a game in which freshman Connor Dillon scored 22 points in his first collegiate start.

At 2-3 overall and 0-2 in the NSIC South, Upper Iowa should prove to be a tough test as Winona State works for their second straight win in Fayette.
