Winona, Minn. -- The 2020-21 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Men's & Women's Basketball seasons begin this weekend across the NSIC and Warrior fans have multiple ways to follow the action.
The new NSIC Network will be available throughout the 2020-21 basketball season and will provide fans the ability to watch all games from around the league via a custom network website, mobile apps for iOS, Android, and Amazon Fire Tablet devices, and apps for popular streaming TV devices like Apple TV, Android TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku.
Additionally, Warrior fans can tune in to Winona State's very own
KQAL 89.5 and listen live to all games held in McCown Gymnasium, home of WNB Financial Court. The KQAL app is available in the
App Store or
Google Play.
NSIC Network Information:
As
announced earlier this year, all NSIC Basketball games will be streamed live and free at
www.NSICNetwork.com, a collaboration between BlueFrame Technology and the NSIC.
Fans can also download OTT and IOS/Android apps to their devices by searching "NSIC Network" or "NSIC" on their favorite platforms. For troubleshooting, please see information at end of article or visit the BlueFrame FAQ page at:
https://www.blueframetech.com/player-faq/
Important - Be sure the app says
"NSIC Network" - apps from previous seasons will not work. Contact
BlueFrame for support.
Live Steam Recommendations:
- It is recommended to use an updated version of Google Chrome for optimal viewing and compatibility.
- If your browser is older or outdated, there is a chance it will not correctly load the website.
- You are watching a live HD broadcast, for optimal quality your internet connection should be capable of 10Mbps download speeds with a minimum of 1Mbps. Test your connection using speedtest.net.
Mobile Devices:
- Mobile devices including iPhone, iPad and Android will work with the default web browser.
- Devices should be kept up to date and connected to a reliable data connection for optimal playback.
Viewing Webcasts on Television:
- The NSIC Network is available on Amazon Fire TV, Android TV, Apple TV (4th Generation) and Roku by searching for 'NSIC' or 'NSIC Network' in the application store on these devices.
- Apple users and owners of an AppleTV device can simply 'throw' the webcast from their iPhone or iPad using the 'AirPlay' feature. See How to use AirPlay for more information.
- Computer users can output their display directly to an HDMI signal if supported, otherwise a converter may be required.
- These options may require advance setup and we suggest using an 'On Demand' archive to test prior to watching a live event.

About the 2020-21 NSIC Men's & Women's Basketball Seasons:
NSIC basketball schedules are comprised of 16-games played over eight weeks, with programs competed against the same opponent at the same site on back-to-back days. On Jan. 2 and 3, all NSIC teams will begin with two non-conference games against NSIC opponent in the opposite division. The conference divisional schedule will then consist of 14 games with teams playing each member of its division twice. Unique to 2020-21, the NSIC will only crown a North Division and South Division Champion this year.
