WINONA, Minn. –
Bryce Stoltz turned in her season-best performance to help lead Winona State gymnastics to their highest score of the season, and earned Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (WIAC) Gymnastics Athlete of the Week in the All-Around.
In the quadrangular at UW-Eau Claire on Feb. 18, Stoltz recorded career-high performances in each event leading to a third-place finish in the all-around with a score of 37.850. She also earned second place in both the vault (9.575) and the beam (9.625) in a very competitive field.
Stoltz, a freshman from Highlands Ranch, Colo., was a key factor for the Warriors in the strong showing for the team, as the squad posted a season-high score of 186.050 and earned a runner-up finish in the quadrangular.
Winona State will look to continue their success at UW-La Crosse on Friday, Feb. 25 in a quadrangular with Hamline, UW-Eau Claire, and UW-La Crosse.
