MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Winona State University softball team is ready to close out the 2022 Fairfield Inn and Suites Classic at Northwest Missouri State University today, as the Warriors compete against Missouri Southern State University and Northwest Missouri State University.
At 9 a.m., Winona State (13-7, 0-0 NSIC) will look to solve the Missouri Southern (15-9, 3-1 MIAA) pitching puzzle, as the Lions held WSU to two hits and no runs in a 8-0 victory over the Warriors yesterday. Then, at 11 a.m., Winona State will play their final game of the weekend, WSU will take on the host Bearcats (5-20, 0-2 MIAA). WSU defeated Northwest Missouri State 24-3 yesterday.

Today's games are the final non-conference tune-up opportunities for the Warriors, as they open NSIC play on Tuesday, March 29 against Upper Iowa University.
