WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University gymnastics team honored senior Breanna Ho and welcomed alumni back for the annual Smile On celebration in a WIAC dual meet against Gustavus Adolphus College on Friday, Feb. 10. 

In the end, the visiting Gusties outscored the Warriors, winning the competition by a 184.800 to 183.150 scoreline. 

Winona State claimed several top-three finishes on the evening, led by Kennedy O'Connor winning the vault with a 9.650, while Warrior teammate Breanna Ho took second with a score of 9.425. Kaylee Bateman also took top honors for WSU, scoring 9.325 on the bars to lead all competitors. Taryn Sellner was the champion in the floor routine with a mark of 9.625.  Sellner and Bateman tied for first in the beam, both scoring 9.475. Jessica Miley had the top all-around score in the meet, notching a 34.850. 

WSU is next in action on Thursday, Feb. 16 when they travel to the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh for a WIAC dual meet starting at 6 p.m.
