CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - The Winona State University gymnastics team traveled to Cape Girardeau, Mo. for a triangular meet at NCAA Division I Southeast Missouri State University, where the Warriors took on the host Redhawks and Talladega College.

Winona State finished with a team score of 189.025, taking third overall, while SEMO took top honors with a 195.625 team mark.  Talladega College concluded the meet with 190.175 points, finishing second as a squad.  For Winona State, the 189.025 ties the fourth-best team score in program history, landing with the 189.025 earned in 2015 in a WIAC dual meet versus UW-Stout.

Kaylee Bateman and Taryn Sellner paced Winona State on the beam, turning scores of 9.550 and 9.525, respectively. Regan Kelly had the third-best Warrior score on the beam, notching a 9.500. Collectively,  Winona State carded a 46.500 beam team score.

The Warrior team mark of 48.500 on the floor is the second-best team score ever in the floor, with only the March 18, 2016 score of 48.875 earned at the NCGA Nationals residing higher in program history.

The WSU vault score of 47.700 moved into fourth all-time, displacing the Feb. 28, 2016 score of 47.500 earned by Winona State at Hamline University.
