WINONA STATE VOLLEYBALL SET FOR FINAL HOME WEEKEND

WINONA, Minn. - The Winona State University women's volleyball team is set to host their final regular season Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) where they face off against the Bemidji State University on Friday, November 8 at 6pm and Saturday, November 9 at 2pm at home inside McCown Gymnasium.  
 
The Warriors hold a 15-10, 8-6 NSIC record while the Bemidji State University posts a 8-14, 3-11 NSIC record. The Golden Eagles hold a 7-15, 4-10 NSIC record.

Winona State volleyball has a Senior Day ceremony at the conclusion of the match honoring the four Warriors who will be graduating, Kylie Welch, Leah Mach, Sidney Paulson, and Lydia Lange
 
Winona State Notes:     

  • Winona State holds a 15-10, 8-6 NSIC record for the year so far.
  • WSU fell in four sets against Minnesota State University, Mankato in their last contest.
  • Sidney Paulson and Lydia Lange led the Warriors with 20 kills last week.
  • Ashlyn Steding has collected 35 service aces to lead the Warriors.
  • Jaci Winchell has 530 assists to lead the Warriors.
  • Abigail Savatski has 76.0 blocks this season.
  • Senior, Kylie Welch averages 5.15 digs/set, good for fourth in the NSIC.

Bemidji State Notes:   

  • The Beavers hold a 8-14, 3-11 NSIC record so far this season.    
  • The Beavers most recently faced off against MSU Moorhead, winning the match in five sets.   
  • Ashley Crowl leads BSU in kills so far this season (254).     
  • Leading the Beavers in assists is Emily Wade (733).     
  • Jada Wlodarczyk has 359 digs on the year to lead BSU.  

  

Minnesota Crookston Notes:   

  • The Golden Eagles hold a 7-15, 4-10 NSIC record so far this season.    
  • Minnesota Crookston head coach Nick Meseck enters his 4th season at the helm of the Golden Eaglessquad.    
  • Minnesota Crookston most recently faced off against Northern State University, losing in three sets.   
  • Maya Jones leads Minnesota Crookston in kills so far this season (216).     
  • Leading the Golden Eagles in assists is Baily Teveldal (727).     
  • Kailee Waasdorp has 406 digs on the year to lead the Golden Eagles.  
  • Emma Malek has 46.0 blocks on the year.
