JOPLIN, Mo. – The Winona State University men's cross country team concluded the 2024 campaign on Saturday, Nov 9th, competing at the NCAA Division II Regional Championships hosted by Missouri Southern State University.
Mitchell Johnstone led the Warriors and earned a top-50 finish, finishing with a time of 31:48.65.
Andrew Metcalf was the next Warrior to cross the finish line with a time of 32:51.51, followed by
Connor Norby, who finished with a time of 32:55.62. Shortly following was
Robert Spain, finishing with a time of 33:09.94, coming in after Spain was
Jacob Lanzara, who recorded a time of 33:54.29.
Connor Hallaway was the next Winona State runner to cross the finish line with a time of 34:25.14, and rounding out the scoring for the Warriors was
Mitchell Buerkle with a time of 34:46.11.
As a team, Winona State finished 18th overall, tallying 506 points.
