WARRIORS TIED FOR THIRD IN NSIC ALL-SPORT STANDINGS

BURNSVILLE, Minn. – The NSIC All-Sports Standings have been compiled following the fall season and Winona State sits tied for third overall.
 
Winona State is in a three-way tie for third with Minnesota Duluth and Sioux Falls at 41.50 overall points. Augustana has the overall lead with 64.00 points and Minnesota State is second with 54.00.
 
The Warriors are tied for fourth in the women's standings with 29.00 points, as Augustana holds the lead with 36.00 points. WSU is tied for sixth in the men's standings with 12.5 points while Augustana leads the way at 28.00.
 
The winner of each title in a conference-sponsored championship receives points totaling the number of teams in that sport plus one. The next place finisher receives points totaling the number of teams less the number of places from first place. Ties in the standings at any level shall result in the totaling of points and equal distribution.

The NSIC will release all-sports standings again following the winter sports season. The NSIC All-Sports Champion is announced following the spring season, with the award being presented at the NSIC Hall of Fame banquet in July 2025.
 
Winona State has won the NSIC All-Sport Award four times, all in consecutive years from 2004-2008.
